The Company
Formed in 2004, The Crooked Little House Pecan Orchards, Inc. is owned and operated by the Alberty and Burk families. While we are a newly formed company, we are certainly not new to the pecan business. Our first orchard, in Locust Grove, OK, was purchased in 1973. Over the years we've learned some of the in's-n-out's of the pecan business and guess what....we're still learning. This year after much prayer and deliberation, we purchased The Crooked Little House and orchard in Adair, OK. We are now committed to the pecan business in a very big way!! Our goal is to provide you, our customer, with the highest quality product you can buy. Your satisfaction is guaranteed! If you are ever dissatisfied with your purchase we will gladly refund your money.
Located 5 miles west of Adair, OK on Highway 28, this orchard is also where The Crooked Little House retail store is located. With over 107 acres of native, improved native and papershell trees, this orchard supplies the majority of our crop.  Locust Grove, OK OrchardLocated 3-1/2 miles northwest of Locust Grove, OK this is the original Alberty family orchard. Purchased in the early 1970's, many hours have been spent improving the orchard and increasing the harvest yield. Although this is not a fully 'planned' orchard, there are approximately 300 native and papershell trees harvested yearly.
This year we've expanded our business to include this Web site so that our customers can enjoy convenient access to information, new products and ideas, as well as a place to network with others who have similar interests. |
